IE 6 display of web pages

Help me out with this?

I have just done a complete reinstall of my Windows XP Pro OS and installed all my programs from scratch. Then updated my entire system through the internet with all the patches I could find for the programs and OS.

Now on my computer?s browser, I cannot get my navigation buttons to come up on my website. My wife?s computer however, gets the page perfectly and works the buttons correctly.

These buttons were created as hoverbuttons in FrontPage 2002 using graphicscreated in PSP.

The only difference that I can place is that her computer has Windows SP1 and my computer has SP1a (Microsoft VM replaced with JavaW). Is there some sort of fix/patch/update that I need to run to get the web pages to show correctly?
