IE 6 Send Link by Email doesn’t work

I have a PC using IE 6 and when you try to using the “send link by email option” or send page by email option” its doesn’t work. Nothing happens. I have other boxes on the network with the same OS (Win XP SP2) and IE6 and they work OK. We are using Outlook 2002 for email.

Any ideas would be great!

Open IE.

Select Internet Options.

Select the Programs Tab.

In the radio box for “Email,” choose Microsoft Outlook.

I have it set up like this alreday and it doesn’t work. Thanks anyway.

Do a repair install of IE. First show all files/folders by following these steps:

* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

Next, go to c:\windows\inf. Find the ie.inf file, right-click on it and choose “Install”. Wait for the installation to complete and reboot your computer.

Check the ie option for your email client as stated above and try again.
