IE 7.0 Hangs and freeze’s

Hi, I just reformated my computer and reinstalled everything. I was using IE 7.0 before and it ran flawlessly and i loved it but when i reinstalled it after formating it hangs when i click links and takes forever to load them, or it will just freeze up completly and ill have to shut it down using task manager.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a solution to this as i love IE 7.0 but cant use it in its current condition.

Oh and im running windows XP Sp 2.
