I m using wimp with 2 users a/c both r administrator & facing problem in one a/c. my Internet Explorer home page changed to

I tried my best to change it 2 Yahoo & it restore it on that time but when I restarted my system it comes to the above address again. Even I used Ad-aware v6.0 Personal build 6.181 & SpyBot - Search & Destroy v1.2 to delete any ad-aware or spay ware and it found 600 entries & I
deleted all that with the hope that it might work. But nothing happened. I searched my system & registry and deleted all entries containing above name and when I restarted the system it come again.

Pls tell me how can I changed my IE home page it Yahoo permanently.

Run adaware.. custom - select all drives... Remove all files. edit i.e. properties for home page i.e. Enable system restore... REBOOT all done

yeah, just posted adaware due to just fixing a local system on a moron's (i mean end user's desktop) that surfed porn and other stupid links... In XP the system restore recovers that link. But if you go into safe mode, disable sys restore and clean, it's fine.

it's puts hacks in the registry also under the run folder so it always applies those settings. just waiting for the microsoft patch that adds the "This program is attempting to modify your registry"... "Block it forever and REPORT, or allow it"

IE has ben hijacked, while Adaware will work in many of these cases you will ned to run an IE cleaner and Spyad will stop it from recurring.

Here's some links:

Also this will add some custom certificates that will block known companies from doing it again:

The homepage you have provided offer complete removal instructions and a cleaner right from their website.

There is a spyware program called Cool Web Search which can hijack your IE home page. This website has a tool which can remove it:
I recommend giving it a try.
