IE Home Page

By capri ·
Try as I might I cannot keep the home page as I set it up. Every time I close out IE and reopen it, it resets to http://www.solongas.com... and then to http://www.here4search.com. This search page lists sexually explicit search criteria which I do not want, particularly as my home page. How can I find where it is coming from and how do I delete it and permanently set my home page to that of my choice. Any suggestions?

I had a similar issue and used spybot, which searches and eliminates spyware from a PC. After downloading and installing run the program and you will see a list of entries checked that the program will delete. Make sure none are entries you might need though. THis has even been used at my work to get rid of several issues such as this and other software a user may download.

Here is the link for spybot: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html
