I am running Windows 98 on my computer. Recently I had started my computer and it began to run through the windows setup wizard. I have had the computer for almost 4 years now and Windows has been running ok. So i went through with the setup and after i entered my product key it started like normal. After the windows login window it seemed like ti was going to start normally but then i received the explorer has performed an illegal action message and when i clicked close it wouldnt do anything else. Therefore i am unable to get into my system at all it just stops and i am left with only my background and explorer does not start at all. Can anyone help me to cofigure this problem without reinstalling windows as i did not receive windows on a disk because it was already on my computer when i bought it.
