About 8 months ago I signed up with a free ISP called “freewwweb.” Downloaded their software and all the rest of it… They went out of business 3 months ago or so. Well, they left traces of their name “freewwweb” all over my comp. I have gottenrid of most of the junk, but one item. Every time I use the Internet Explorer to search the Web, the title bar (the blue bar on the very top), which should just say “Microsoft Internet Explorer” says “Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by freewwweb”!!!! Can someone please help me get rid of that crap?
Please, no dumb answers like “search for freewwweb in the find box….” and their like. I have looked in many places, even searched the whole registry to find how to correct this, but to noavail. 🙁
