With the focus on IE (make sure it's the active window), try hitting 'ALT+SPACE' then choose 'Restore'.

Make sure you have the latest updates for Win95. Amongst these are OLE and DCOM+ updates that handle your drag and drop ability. IE5 expects these to be available. If you reinstall IE5 make sure you do a custom and install all components. Hope this helps.

Maybe I don't understand this problem exactly, but it seems to be that IE window appears not maximized.

If that's the case, simple expand it with the middle button in the upper right hand corner of the IE window.

Once maximized, close the program and it should save it in that state.

Yea,I guess you didnt, but thx for taking the time to answer. The active IE window is maximized, but opens half-way down the display, and is not movable.THX

Are you saying that IE defaults to the center of the screen when you start it but then are able to re-size it after it's been started? Are you wanting IE to start in a different position and size than when it's first opened?
If this is the case, size and position IE the way you want it and then close it (and all other open browser windows that may be open). Reboot the computer and then try IE. It should now start at the position / size that it was in just before you closed it down the last time.

I'm not too sure I understand the question if this isn't what you're talking about...
