Installing Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 could help:

Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is the most recent version of Internet Explorer 6 core technologies in Windows XP. Internet Explorer
6 Service Pack 1 provides a private, reliable, and flexible browsing experience and the freedom to experience the best of Internet for Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows 98 users. To download and install Internet Explorer 6 SP1, follow these steps:

NOTE: Internet Explorer 6 SP1 is included with Windows XP SP1. If Windows XP SP1 is installed on your computer, you need not download and install Internet Explorer 6 SP1.

1. Visit the following Web page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.asp

2. Select a language from the Select Language drop-down menu and click Go.
3. Under Download section, click Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1.
4. To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location.

NOTE: If you wish to copy the download to your hard drive and install the service pack later, click Save or Save program to disk option. Double-click the saved ie6setup.exe file to begin the installation.

5. Followthe onscreen instructions.
6. Restart the computer.

Internet Explorer 6 SP1 should now be installed on your computer.

To view a list of the fixes in Internet Explorer 6 SP1, visit the following Web page:

Hope the problem is resolved. :)
