I am looking for anyone that can help on this. I am getting the run around from Microsoft and Dell… I just need the fix and no B.S. to get to it… My problem is exactly what is stated in Technet article Q281679. They state in the article that a fix is out there, and to get the fix you are to contact Support Services. I do that, and when they find out that I am using an OEM version of 98se provided by Dell, they tell me to talk to Dell, and they will not assist. Dell tells me that they can’t thelp me either because they don’t support windows in that respect. So, here I have a problem that has a fix that I am unable to obtain. Can anyone assist with obtaining the fix and instructions on how to apply it??? You would think that on afree prodcut, that MS would at least offer the fix for download… Thanks in advance to anyone that can help out.
