I’m trying to network two Sony VAIO computers running W2K with internal firewire devices. Both came pre-installed with Win98 and SmartConnect, an application used to network two VAIOs via firewire. Unfortunately, the SmartConnect software that came with the two VAIOs will not work with W2K and I was wondering if anybody knows of any type of software that does this same type of ethernet emulation. I’ve tried Unibrain’s FireNet software without success.
