If a printed circuit or a solder joint on a hardware part is damaged

If there is a microscopic gap in just one printed circuit, on a hardware part – it renders the whole hardware part useless?
If not, which hardware parts can partially work, despite one or more printed circuits being damaged?2.

A broken circuit on a hardware part

A broken solder joint on a hardware part
Change or influence how:
Data is created in the CPU and written to the drive?
For example, the file was written to the drive, but it would be corrupted.Thank you
