If your privacy is important, what are you going to do about it?

So, we are becoming acutely aware that our government uses our telecommunications companies to keep close tabs on us. And we’re angry. What are people going to do about it? It feels like we’re waiting around for “someone” to fix this for us, but doesn’t that usually end up being our government? Kind of a problem there… are we too apathetic to begin our own privacy movement? Every person who uses a PC and has an email address has the ability to use a free desktop email privacy solution like Taceo that would keep spying eyes out, including our ISPs. So what is keeping us from using it? Why aren’t we changing the way we email?
