ifconfig freezed

By noorazman ·
My machine is Acer notebook with Intel Centrino processor. I'm try to install Fedora into the notebook. It works fine and nicely dual boot with win xp. The nic is broadcom 4400. It can ping 127.1 and it's own ip address
When i try to use ifconfig ... it will freezed. When i try to shutdown , the system failed to shutdown eth0 and I have to shutdown manually.
Please somebody help me with the broadcom driver or patches for centrino !!
