Has anybody ever had issues with the anonymous-logon and Netscape Communicator. I'm have some issues with setting up a anonymous account in NT I know it has to be a user with local logon but I'm having trouble piecing this together.

To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods:
Method 1 In the Microsoft Internet Service Manager open the WWW Service Properties.
For Anonymous user, verify the Anonymous Logon Username and Password.
Verify that the username and password in the WWW Service Properties has an identical username and password used in User Manager.
Run User Manager to verify the local logon rights for your designated user.
Method2 Run the Microsoft Internet Service Manager to change your anonymous or specific logon user to an account that does have local logon rights. Verifying the same username and password as used in User Manager.
When you install IIS, the anonymous account IUSR_COMPUTERNAME is created. This is the account that users use in order to see your webpage. There will only be a problem with netscape users if you enable challenge/response form of authentication as this is microsoft specific. When you post a webpage on the server just make sure the IUSR account has permissions for the file and all should work ok regardless of the browser. Good luck!
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
