G’Day Folks,
I’m runnning IIS 5 on a standalone practice Win2K machine. After logging in I get a popup error msg: “Unable to wait on selected resource”
My applications event viewer has :
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Perflib
Description:
The configuration information of the performance library “C:\WINDOWS\system32\w3ctrs.dll” for the “W3SVC” service does not match the trusted performance library information stored in the registry. The functions in this library will not be treated as trusted.
My services event viewer has :
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSFTPSVC(also W3SVC, SMTPSVC)
Description:
The server was unable to register the administration tool discovery information. The administration tool may not be able to see this server. The data is the error code.
I am unable to fix this.
