IIS & Dynamic HDD

what is the best practice for setting HDD in IIS5.0. isit best to setup the HDD as basic or upgrade to Dynamic HDD. notice that the HDD is will contain system root, virtuall folders, and data

Best practice would be most definately not to upgrade the hard disk that will contain the system root to Dynamic as other operating systems can't see it, ie NT, you won't be able to access it in DOS if the server dies and can't change the size or anything once this has been done. The only thing I can suggest if the files are being moved around would be to build a Distributed File System (DFS) and base the IIS site on that, then if you need to move stuff around the network, once you modify the DFS configuration, IIS will automatically update all relevant page links on the site.
