IIS FTP connection to server reset

When i first try to log into my ftp server via another location, i alwies get the message,
“An error occurred opening the folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to access that folder.

Details:
The connection with the server was reset”

now, if i simply hit ok, then refresh, it works fine. I do not want this error to occor any longer. Does anyone have a solution. Thanks
