IIS FTP – Disable Home Folder Redirect?

    Locked

    by daring ·

I have an FTP site set up to allow my users to share files with each other. Every user has a folder based on their user name. When a user logs into the FTP site, they are redirected to their own “home” folder, but then they do not have access to each other’s folders. I understand this is by design, but is there a way to disable the redirection so they only see the root of the FTP site? Possibly using MetaEdit or a registry key? Thanks in advance.

No, my best solution was to just put a space in the folder names so they did not match their account names exactly. Not what I wanted, but it works.

Of course I would want a third party application, or even better something that supports SFTP/SCP, but you know, management and change.

Thank you for the reply anyhow.
