IIS Memory Usage / Server Lock Up?

By mharrell ·
I run Windows Advance Server 2000 as web server for a small group of clients. I am also running BVRP Mail server as the POP /SMTP Server. It is a P4 2.0, 1gig of ram, etc...

Every 2 to 3 days I will get a server lock up with 100% of available memory used. The solution is to reboot the machine.

I have notice that the lock ups usually come when the "inetinfo.exe" process slowly grows from around 9,185K to above 13,000K of memory. I am not sure if this is the culprit ... but it seems to be the one item I notice out of sync.

I thought that the windows 2000 eliminated most of the memory leak problems from NT days (reboot every 24 hrs).

Any ideas?
