I use IIS v5.1 on XP Pro SP2. I use a counters from Frontpage 2003. Everytime I make a site change, I have to go to IIS to “recalculate web” so the counter goes to the correct logged number, and not back to 1.
Last week I installed Frontpage Extensions 2002 and the update and not “recalculate web” does nothing. I have new options that says “recalculate server extentions 2002 web” but that asks me for a login and password. I never created one on IIS. I was unable to recalc my webpages again for the counters.
Then I uninstalled all of those Frontpage Extensions 2002 with a System Restore point and then an uninstalkler that monitored it all. Then I removed all the IIS components and reinstalled fresh.
Now IIS is running again and I can “recalc” again, however, all my counters say 1. I can not get them back to the way they were with the recalc.
Any help would be appreciated.
