Hai it’s hari,
i am having ftp server which had win2003 server OS and my software research engineer had developed a script for my company.In that script everyuser can access the ftp server by http page of the server and user can gain access the files
and they can read the pdf or word whatever it is.
The problem is the ftp and users are in the same lan of the same segment.OS, anybody can acces the server not only by http and also as folder.
what i want to secure is,
a) my ftp server files should not be copied by some other users
b) user should be able to view it only by http
file
i tried it by giving the permission for the folder as read only, but the files are not opening
after i clicked that link file. we are using iis to publish the site
is it possible………..
