IIS Server does not work from outside router

by busyguy111 . Updated 18 years, 3 months ago

I have been running a blind drop with anonymous-only log on for years. It’s running on a Windows 2000 machine.

It stopped working suddenly about four months ago. I’m trying to get it started again.

I’ve replaced the router (At&T no longer supported my handy old router). Of course now that I’ve done that it still doesn’t work!

I can type the internal address (ftp://192.168.1.249) and it finds it just fine from anywhere in the building.

The ports are open (per the new router company). But for some reason it can’t be accessed from the outside world. I’ve double checked and verified my mapping of the ftp ports to this machine. But to no avail. I have a new router and the same old problem.

If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I’ve even double check with Ameritech to make sure they aren’t blocking ftp ports and they assure me they are not.
