We have a small network of 80 end-users on a Windows NT server. Some of our newest computers are Compaq Deskpro en types. We utilize MS Office 2000 from our server to the end-users. Ever since enabled the energy saver settings on these computers,we get aggravating Illegal Operation messages, interrupting processes on the computers. In the details section, it says the general protection fault was in module “User.exe” Then gives the registers stacks that pertain to the error. Anyone have any suggestions? we are mandated by the State of California to use those energy setting at this time. (We are a small state agency). Can anyone even steer me in the right direction to even research an answer? Please Help?
