I’m running a Compaq Armada E500 laptop, with win98se, office 2000, McAfee 5.0, etc… My problem is when I boot up I get a illegal operation with Mcafee (vshwin.exe), I tried to uninstall and reinstall, plus I went into the registry and deleted all references to McAfee and Network Associates.
I also get the illegal operation when I try to open Outlook 2000, It is configured on a lan, exchange mail. I’ve tried to uninstall office 2000 and reinstall plus I’ve installed the service pack. I have done a complete virus scan on the hard drive. Still getting the errors. Help!!!
