I’m facing challenges in fostering a DevOps cultural shift in my organization. How can I engage senior leaders and communicate the benefits of DevOps to gain their support? How can I promote collaboration and shared responsibility among teams? What practices encourage continuous learning and improvement? How can I ensure transparent communication and knowledge sharing? How do I empower individuals to embrace change and take ownership? I appreciate your insights to drive this cultural shift. Thank you!

All those other benefits are not very interesting to almost all management.

If your DevOps efforts don’t result in quarterly savings, you need to refine your presentation and find where the savings are.

That said, I rarely saw DevOps to help in the projects I worked over the decades. Mostly because the projects were short in time spans of one to twelve months. Consider a remote control. We complete those in about 30 days and then the project is done, production continues for years without need for any DevOps.

When someone wants to do Agile and such, we get them on the planning team and make them deeply aware of budgets and planning. DevOps is not going to result in savings in every project is what they learn.
