Hi there, I need help starting a home wireless network, and also integrating it with an existing wired network.
Wired network: 3 Desktop pcs networked and internet sharing via a Linksys Cable/DSL Router Model no. BEFSR41. The wired network is on the 1st floor of the house.
I have acquired two Vista laptops that have built in 802.11g devices in them.
Ideally, I’d want the laptops to be able to wirelessly connect to the network, whether they be on the 1st or 2nd floor of the house.
I visited the linksys website a while ago,read a couple descriptions regarding wireless products, and I think this is the one I need:

But with so many wireless products out there, it’s really hard to tell which one will suit my requirements, and I wouldn’t want to pay extra cash for the unneccesary features
