im having trouble with configuring a RAID in a HP server can someone help

I inherited some HP netserver 2000r and a 1000r servers i am trying to install a 3 36 gigs HDD's on the 1000r server with win 2003 server OS. I know that i need the software for it but i have looked in the windows help option and in the HP website but i cannot seem to find it can someone direct me in the right direction or can this be done with this OS

ROM based utility?

I'm not familiar with those server, but on the servers I AM familiar with, there's a ROM-based array configuration utility that you can use to manage the arrays.

While the server is starting up (POST) and before it attempts to load the O/S, there may be a keypress (on mine it's F that launches the array config

or you can contact HP for the Netserver Navigator bootable CD for that model; it's a bootable CD which holds drivers and the configuration utility

Are you sure it has a RAID controller? According to the article, RAID would have been an add-on.
