For someone who admits that his “budgets almost never work as expected, often for reasons beyond my control”, it is amazing that Mr. Ediger’s budgets “are always approved”.
Given that the first item in the list of his budget outline is “Review of Past year”, I for one am incredulous that he has the successess (in getting management approval) that he claims after the failures (in meeting goals) that he admits.
Is there a missing ingredient to this recipe for success?
