I'm sure it's already been asked...

Ok, here's my situation, I've got a Dell PC, with a winmodem, more specifically it's a BCM V92 56K modem. I've checked the net and come up dry for a driver so i can use this modem with Linux. I read posts on several newsgroups that said that Dell released a driver, but when i gave Dell the 3rd degree, they said they never released anything, and they then suggested i run Windows XP Home or Professional. Aight, does anyone know where i can find a driver?

To expand on the previous. Download and run the scan tool. It will write a directory with the specifics for the modem. Go back to the site and pull down the drivers. Follow the instructions.

I did this a couple weeks ago and it worked fine.
