    iMac reformat error

    I tried to reformat my iMac to give away but when I try to reinstall the software via internet recovery I get error: -2002F
    Any tips on how to proceed? No return call from Apple support so I’m on my own.

      Usually means that the Recovery tool

      could not reach the Recovery Servers.
      Does it happen every time you try?

      A bootable flash drive or external HD is probably something you wish you had at this moment, that and a Time Machine backup
