I’m wanting to use a tall, thin repeatable image as the right and left borders of web pages using CSS.
I’m a beginner to HTML and CSS, and no solutions have been found online. (that I could understand)
The pages already have a small image as the background, (brushed aluminum) and that’s declared in an external style sheet.
If you’re curious, the url is http://www.precision-ar.com, and the image I want to add to the right and left is a scan of woodgrain, 44pix by about 700.
I tried frames, but that separates the content from the page name, and so spiders won’t like it, and I’m not sure there’s a way to use tables. (is there a “span-all” tag?)
Any help would be appreciated!
