Image doesnot display in IE 6

One of my friends runs IE 6 on Windows 98. The internal links, for example the find button on the EMEA website doesnot display and one can not use the feature. The same displays perfectly well on other machines running Netscape 4.0 and higher and IE5.5.

We did check the java enabling but to no avail.

Where or what is wrong?
