When I try to dispay a web page image in either IE7 or Firefox sometimes the image laod just hangs or only the top half of the image is displayed. I’ve googled for possible solutions and tried everything I’ve found but with no success. I’ve removed my McAfee firewall, privacy etc with no success. Can any one suggest what might be causing this and a solution? I have XP Pro with SP2 and all the updates. I’ve removed add-ons from IE7 and now downloaded Opera but the same problem remains. I’ve uninstalled IE7 but IE6 has the same problem. I’ve uninstalled anti-spyware. I’m sure it must be an XP Pro setting somewhere – but where?
