IMAPI problem

Suddenly developed this IMAPI prob. It stops my Nero software working and displays this Error message: 'another application is using Windows burning engine(IMAPI'.

IMAPI problem

Did anyone install any other burning software? Nero, NTI, Record Now, Roxio, etc. --> they do not play well together and it's best to only install and use one version.

A lot of computers sold come with a basic version of Roxio Easy CD Creator and people end up installing Nero -- not realizing that it's going to conflict.

Go to Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs and remove the cd burning software you do not use. If that fails to resolve the issue, then reinstall Nero.

And make sure you have the latest updates for your version of Nero.

IMAPI problem

Have had Nero 5.5.10.x installed from day one. Installed aheads lncd and that worked well with nero still fuctionong in background. Only addded software was a backup systems for use with Nero - which has been deleted. Have deleted nero, lncd andbackup device, Am now reinstalling nero. Have set services to automatic.
