When I booted up I got a desktop that just flashes repeatedly, not the wallpaper, the icons and task bar. I get the following error message:
defwatch.exe – illegal system dll relocation
The System DLL ole32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not function properly. The relocation occured because the DLL Dynamically Allocated Memory occupied an address range reserved for Windoze NT System DLL’s. the vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL. OK
Anyway, I was able to boot up to the local login admin account, not network login. The desktop doesnot flash in the local login, but I get the same errors.
As soon as this happened the first time, I rebooted and used the Last Known Good boot. Still no luck, same problem. Also booting into VGA mode results in the same problem. Only when I boot to the local machine account does the screen not flash. I tried to uninstall the app I just installed but the uninstaller failed.
Any ideas?
