Project Charter Importance

by Techno-PM In reply to Explain further...

Project Charter is often neglected document in project management documentations. But it is very useful and needed document in project life cycle.
Here I list some points which will tell why we need one project charter document-
1. It is a document which authorizes project formally before starting any another process.
2. It provides a vision and mission of the project.
3. Push Project managers to take lead role.
4. Identify scopes and objectives of given project.
5. Visualize project success.
6. Engaging stakeholders with project.
7. Efficient and secured resource and budget management.
8. As a reference for very team meeting in future.

Hope i have answered you. Anything else is also welcome related to project management.
