When I try to import a txt file to an access database, I do not have that option in the drop down list. The drpo down is missing txt and html extensions.
I tried reinstalling office 97, choosing a custom install, and making sure that these were selected in the data access portion. They were checked and greyed out showing that they were already installed.
I also tried installing the 97 value pack, this did not help either.
I upgraded the OS from 98 to 98SE, still no luck.
Every othermachine that has office 97, has these extensions in the drop down by default.
What could be the problem?
