I have a client with an Access database that is about 90MB for the data side which is the backend and they have a front end as well. It originally started as Access 97 with someone creating it who was more of a programmer and I believe they used VB. Since then they have two other Access consultants in which they have converted it to Access 2000 and have made it a front end and a backend. The database is replicatable so that they may take it offsite to conventions.
Here is the problem: Lately the database is becoming corrupted on more than a weekly basis and it also ?loses its replication?. This client is extremely frustrated as they are a small client with less than 10 users accessing the database from a W2K server. They have spent 1000?s of dollars on this database which is their bread & butter and could really use some expertise in either fixing the problem, starting from scratch or even using some other program, although that would be a last resort.
