In Excel

Excel provides over 225 built in functions. Please, can you tell me what kind of function I should use to select only the cells with Conditional Formats/to select only the cells with Data Validation in my huge data without selecting the whole data? Thank you!

There is no VBA function in Insert Function dialog box. When I type VBA in Search for a function box, the RTD function is selected. I try to use it and the result is #NAME? The Add-Ins is not adding the VBA in Insert Function dialog box. This is Catastrophe!

No, the previous poster said that you should use VBA, which means "write a macro". You are not going to accomplish this goal without a macro. I'm not going to write actual code, but I will tell you how the code should function:

1. Loop through the "UsedRange" range on the sheet you are working with.
2. Test for the existence of conditional formatting code within that cell.
3. If the cell contains conditional formatting, add that cell reference to a string that represents a range.
4. When finished looping, select a range, using the string you constructed as the range specification.

Well, you mean by VBA is Visual Basic? And I thought that VBA is a function that I was looking for in the Insert Function dialog box. I only know how to record and make run a macro but I still don?t have any idea about the VBA.
Any how, thank you very much.
