In MS Access I am trying to create a Report based on a due date

By terencekuo ·
Upon start up of the Access database, I would like the current date to be compared to all the (contract renewal) due dates in a table. If the difference is less than 30 days, I would like to display all the records in a report. The database is essentially to remind me to pay maintenance support for contracts and permits before the lapse.

Would appreciated some tips tod o this. thanks. TK.

Create a report of your table or view.
Add an advanced filter.

Drag the Duedate to the first criteria column and PaidYesNo to the second criteria column.

In the row criteria under DueDate, write <Now()+30
In the same row, under PaidYesNo, enter "No"

Apply the filter.

In the report view, you may also want to use conditional formatting. Click on the DueDate column, then under conditional formatting select "Less than" and enter the value "Now()". This way, you can highlight overdue invoices.
