What does this mean?: “Sata dere nevasaya, eri no michieva.”

How does one judge a creator- and, by extension, the Creator (if such a being exists)?

My answer (to the second question): A creator should be judged by the quality of its creations. The Creator (if such a being exists) should be judged by the quality of its creations.

Not of divinity, yet of err bereft
