Inaccessible Boot Device

When i boot my windows 200 pro, i first get a message saying, “hard drive could be failing, please back up data, Imminent failure.”
Press F1 to continue, then i hit F1 and i get the windows 2000 pro logo screen. After about 3/4 of the way, i get the blue screen of death.

Can anyone tell me whats causing this screen to appear.
