Incoming mail name changes

Incoming mail POP 3 name changes to ‘local host’ and I can not receive e-mail untill I go in and change back to, ‘mail.sofnet.com’ The account name also changes and must be re-entered to refect my user name. There does not seem to be a way to lock the correct names in place. I do click on apply when exiting Yhanks Olai
