I have a customer with an HP Pavillion 667MHZ, 64MB RAM and 20GB HD running Windows ME.
The Problem I am having with this PC is that all the Desktop shortcut Icons have a Purple book with a ? on top of them. Even when I created a new ICON for explorer it has the correct Icon underneath but the book w/? on top.
All the programs run correctly. This is for a disabled woman who tells her programs by the ICONs so having all books w/? makes it difficult for her to use her PC.
Is there a way to correct this without having to do a restore of ME on the hard Drive?
