Increment date in form field

By cpet ·
In Access 2003,is there a way to enable a user to increment the date to tomorrow for a field on a form whose date defaults to today. ie a key combination such as ctrl +.
I managed it with a command button and coding, I just wonder if I am doing this the hard way.

date increment

by cpet In reply to This could help you with ...

Thanks for trying but I have a field that defaults to the current date, and sometimes the user needs it to be tomorrow. It is the date a letter will be sent. I added a button and code to add 1 to the date and it works fine, I just wondered if there was another, easier way. I don't need it to auto increment.

Default as tomorrow?

by parier In reply to date increment

If you want it to default as tomorrow you can simply change it to =date()+1, or just add a data calendar to the field so they can pick and choose.
Add two date fields on the form as
=date() & =date()+1
and allow the user to select the ACTIVE one with a radio button.
