Okay I have kind of an ignorant question about back ups. I have been recently employed at a start up company with little or no backup policies in place. The servers use Symantec Backup Exec and on the users laptops we are using Windows NT backup. So here’s my question I want each user to do a full backup once a week at different times and then do incrementals for the other 4 days. When setting this up should I append the incremental backups or overwrite them? Our servers aren’t large by any means since it’s a start up business so I want to save space but also want to make sure I can recover as much data as possible if something should happen.
