Independence Day for Europe, too, a.k.a. ACTA go sleep in a ditch!

The European Parliament used their Lissabon agreement power to reject an international trade agreement for the first time.
And they did it to ACTA.
Sweet.

Of course, the European Commission still wants to push it through...

But we'll see; so far it seems like the Parliament has the power to say no, and certainly the ratio of no/yes votes being so massive indicates that they'll keep saying no.
