Indulge me, TR

Locked

Emblazon my welcome — Welcome santeewelding — front and center, announcing all that follows for my viewing, interactive pleasure, with a Sir!

Put it on top of the TechRepublic line, indicative of how, if I close my eyes, you disappear. Put it up there smack in the middle, in big type, bigger than TechRepublic, with exclamation. Give it proprietary space. Make it look so I own the place. Then get on with the content.

I have to squint to see where I am now: way up there over to the right hidden in small print like a begrudging afterthought.

Appeal to me. While you’re feeling expansive, indulge every member that way.

Craven is okay.

TR prefers the black “A CNET PROFESSIONAL BRAND” bar at the bottom
of the page.
🙁

does that bar ever making me cranky! I figure i’ve already given up enough real estate in ads, but seriously, a bar that absolutely nobody wants to see??!! Even if we had the option to “close” it would be kinda nice. To me it’s like a toolbar on my browser, i hate them and rip them out every time one of the kids mistakenly puts one there.

But alas, my complaints as yours, have fallen on deaf ears 🙁 , and there are too many folks here that I like, so I remain 🙂
