One of the things I find most annoying here and on other sites is the way the various pundits like to tell us what effect some industry move will have on the industry. I was reading yet another article of this sort and it occurred to me that sites should rate their contributors on the accuracy of these predictions.
Then we, the humble reader, would have some way of determining who’s articles are worth the read, and who’s are likely to be complete hogwash.
So, would the bloggers and other commentators like to be part of this sort of scheme? Seems pretty reasonable to me. After all, it could also help them improve their own forecasting accuracy.
